2017 Taiwan International Beauty Show & Industry Forum
Held by TAITRA, this year's recently held Taiwan International Beauty Show & Industry Forum saw 85 exhibitors using 133 booths and a doubling of the number of actual attendees originating from 32 countries.
The five dominating nationalities at the event were Mainland China, Japan, USA, Singapore and Malaysia, who were drawn by the fact that this is the only professional business-to-business beauty expo in Taiwan, showcasing quality products from Taiwanese beauty makers.
Most exhibitors participating in the Taiwan Beauty Show this year praised its excellent quality. First-time exhibitor Reise, a company producing natural skin care products, stated that buyers from Russia, Ukraine, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines visited their booth on the first day. In addition, the organiser of Cosmoprof, the largest beauty show in the world, had invited Reise to participate in 2018. Ching Seng Tong, a cosmetic company, appreciated the organizer of the Show and had met several foreign buyers at the Show. In the Workshop, Mr. Chi-Ching Wang, GM of Ching Seng Tong shared the brand story of PureArt. Wang hoped that there would be more cooperation in Taiwan’s cosmetics business or even collaboration across lines of business at the local and international levels.
To respond to the New Southbound Policy, TAITRA organized a HALAL Cosmetics area and invited Halal-certified brands to showcase their products. ZH-Biotech’s Golden Clam Protein Capsules and raw materials had gained attention from buyers interested in HALAL products.
