Cosmoprof Asia: worldwide fair
From 12th to 14th November at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Cosmoprof Asia is back with new areas and stands.
It’s viewed as the event leader in the beauty world for the Asia-Pacific area. Cosmoprof Asia this year expects over 2,350 exhibitors from 42 countries in 22 national pavilions with an overall display space of over 81,500 square metres. More than 64,000 visitors from all over the world are awaited.
“Cosmoprof Asia is the right place for global meetings, and a networking platform. Its significant growth over the years confirms its rightful position as industry leader in the beauty world” said Duccio Campagnoli, president of Gruppo BolognaFiere and Cosmoprof Asia Ltd.
Six thematic areas are programmed: Cosmetics & Toiletries, Natural Health, Pack & OEM, Beauty Salon, Hair Salon and, finally, Nail & Accessories (the most recent addition from last year).
La continua crescita della manifestazione ha inoltre contribuito al lancio di due novità: The continued expansion of the fair has also meant two innovative features:
- Spot On Beauty, a space of over 3,700 square metres which will host 150 international brands from the beauty, spa & wellness, cosmetics and personal care sectors as well as the national pavilions.
- Boutique, the first sampling bar organized in an Asian beauty fair for charity purposes. The visitors to this exclusive “beauty shop” can select and buy an exclusive Boutique package composed of seven top-quality cosmetic products in maxi-sample sizes. Profits will go to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, for research and treatment of breast cancer patients.
The fair has allocated a large area to the “Nail & Accessories” industry, with an exhibition space in the Grand Hall and Grand Foyer (for 124 exhibiting companies) and a 3-day program of meetings and conferences, during the International Nail Days.
For niche products, the Prestige Avenue offers a strategically-positioned area within the Cosmetics&Toiletries to highlight companies with high-quality products and a targeted/sectorial distribution strategy.
The congresses and workshop provide another intense and high-impact form of educational updating. For example, the Cosmoprof Asia Spa Conference is back – this analyzes the impact of new trends, and the future of spa businesses. Visitors can also discover the latest trends in the cosmetics industry during the Focus on Trends sessions.
New Cosmoprof Asia 2014 App
To allow visitors to enjoy a full-immersion experience at the fair, a new app called Cosmoprof Asia 2014 has been launched. Developed for IOS and Android, the app allows users to search for exhibitors complete with location and services via keywords, whilst offering updates on special initiatives and conferences from the organizers.
