The Mood Collection by Philipp Haug, international artistic director for TONI&GUY, manager of the flagship Academy in central London and 2018 London Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards
“I was inspired by a black and white collection that our creative director, Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck created in 2009. I loved the expensive and minimalistic feeling and wanted to combine that with some strong perimeter-focused shapes and a rawness to the photography that shows the strength of the model’s features,” says Philipp Haug, 2018 London Hairdresser of the Year.

The shoot was very 80s inspired, featuring looks that were very iconic but with a color pop
With thick unrefined edges, harsh colors and imperfections, up close stained glass looks raw, misshapen and imperfect. But illuminated and viewed from a distance, it has a level of beauty that seems divine and perfect – Perfection in Imperfection.
