Edizioni Esav is an Italian publishing house, producing trade magazines for the beauty industry.
Founded in 1946 by Mino Pissimiglia, the company publishes Estetica which established itself in just a few years as the most respected magazine in the Italian hairdressing industry. Today the magazine is a worldwide leader in terms of circulation and market penetration. In 1958, it was successfully launched in Japan, followed by Peru, Latin America and the Middle East in 1962--63. The first Italian-English international edition was launched in 1977.
March 1991 heralded the EsteticaNetwork project, complete with local editions – the project launched first in the most important European countries before extending to America and Asia.
Today, Estetica is distributed in over 60 countries in 22 international editions with an overall circulation of 296,500 copies. Edizioni Esav itself manages 12 editions directly from its offices in Paris, Milan, London, Karlsruhe, Barcelona and Miami (in addition to the Turin headquarters). In addition, it has established close working relationships in a licensing format with local publishers in another ten countries
The magazine offers privileged previews of new products, important info on international trade fairs, indepth articles and updates, the latest news on hairtrends and fashion moods… Edizioni Esav also publishes trade magazines Zefiro and Allure (dedicated to selective fragrances). This is flanked by Customer Publishing activity and organization of photographic shoots and events.
